I have created digital art using Clip Studio, Adobe Photoshop,
I create my digital art by drawing the image directly into the art package using a pen tablet, or scanning in one of my line drawings and manipulating the image digitally to colour, shade, texture and light it.
Some of my favourite pieces have been created using the digital art packages.
I have found that with practice, my techniques have improved over the years!
I took up the 'Inktober' challenge in 2018 and again in 2019.
The Inktober challenge involved producing an image for every day in October from a list of words that were given, one for each day.
The idea was to draw an image of what the keyword made you think of.
This is the image that sprang to my mind when given the prompt word 'Legend'.
Much of my artwork is sketched and then finished using pens.
I sketch out my drawings in pencil and then outline using fineliners. I like to use 'Promarker' pens to add colour and finish the work as they blend well and are great for shading!
This picture is inspired by a character that I played in a D&D campaign. She is a dragon priestess cleric, which is a homebrew subclass. This was drawn in the summer of 2019.
I have created numerous pieces of artwork that are simply drawn but are usually not coloured or shaded.
I have used pencils, fineliners and dipping ink pens to create many pieces of artwork. I sometimes scan these images into the computer to continue as digital art, and sometimes I colour them on the paper.
I was asked to create a cartoon image by a friend in 2018 to show 'Taking a break'. This is the result!
